About Queen Mary

On May 27, 1936, the RMS Queen Mary took her maiden voyage. This beautiful ocean liner was the pride of England at the time, as the country had worked diligently to produce her in hopes of rivaling the large ships that flew under other European nations' flags. During World War II, the ocean liner carried American troops home from the fighting, and the ship was one of the most popular passenger cruise boats throughout the 50s and 60s. Today, you can tour the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, and pay tribute to it with the Queen Mary Custom Shape Metal Sign. Featuring the artwork of Larry Grossman, the Queen Mary Custom Shape Metal Sign is produced by applying pigments to American steel and then baking them into the powder coating. The sign is manufactured in America and is 22 inches by 28 inches in size. Each corner of the 6-pound sign has been drilled and riveted to ensure easy hanging.
